The David Shin State Farm Agency started right in the middle of the pandemic. We definitely know how to help our customers through the bad and the good times. It's a privilege to help our customers who are starting to drive, get married, have babies and start families. Those are the highlights we get to share and we love being there to protect what matters most to our customers. Whether it's protection for your auto insurance, home insurance, renters insurance, business insurance, life insurance, and health insurance, hospital supplement insurance and other insurances we take pride in being able to help you make the right decisions for your family.

I graduated from George Fox University and have been working in the insurance and financial services industry for 10 years. I am married to my wife, Natalie, for 7 years and we have a beautiful son, Hezekiah, and our newest addition to the family, Evelyn Shin. My wife and I also have been involved in foster care (with Boys and Girls Aid) for teenagers and we have a foster son who was with us for a little over a year and we still stay in contact to this day. Everything I do, I do for my family. And when you join our agency, you become an extension of our family.

I have had the privilege of serving on the board of directors for Union Gospel Mission for 6 years 2016-2022. My passion isn't only for growing this business but to impact the community in a positive way. I serve my community in my church and in my spare time, I train in Mixed Martial Arts (Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing).

Everyone that is a part of this team is amazing, friendly and are passionate about helping out customers. We have grown significantly in the last three years and are much more equipped to help you in the way you need to be helped. We are always excited to help you with your auto insurance if that's all you have, or all the other insurances. We see ourselves as risk professionals protecting all of your insurance needs. We enjoy educating the details of the policies so that there aren't any confusion as to what you purchase from us. We love helping people understand the ins and outs of an insurance policy. Our agency has qualified for Chairman Circle award in 2021 and 2022.

We service all of Oregon and Washington. Since the pandemic, we've grown to not just Lake Oswego but all of Oregon and Washington. We want to help to find the right option for your auto insurance, home insurance, life insurance and health insurance.
